Introduction

Sometimes you may want to record music played in media player, online radio programs, live performance on Mic... With Free Audio Recorder/Editor for Mac, you can record audio from almost any source. Moreover, it makes users amazed at its ability to edit the recording directly in the easy to use interface. A lot of editing tools can be used to suit your needs.


Step 1. Connect Mic to the Mac

After launching Free Audio Recorder/Editor for Mac, connect a Mic to the Microphone input of the Mac.

Step 2. Choose Recording Device and Channel

Click "Edit - Preferences" and in the recording section to choose the recording device and channel you need, then click "OK".

Step 3. Adjust Recording Volume and Start Recording

You can adjust the recording volume by dragging the slider bar. Now, click the red record button to start recording. When the recording is finished, click stop button. Click "File - Save Project As..." to choose an output folder for you recording and click "Save". Then a new window will pop up to edit the ID3 tag and you can input the info like title, artist, album and so on.
